The WriteForTheStage Prize for New Writing is our annual celebration of the best work of the Greater Manchester Fringe Festival.
We consider any stage play performed during the fringe festival, but you have to opt in to be considered.
The definition of “stage play” covers a broad spectrum of theatrical performance - narrative-driven monologues, dramas, comedies, experimental and site-specific, as well as more traditional plays in theatrical settings.
It’s not too late to apply for consideration for this year’s prize.
