Studio Salford Development Week is rapidly becoming one of Greater Manchester's most important events for new writing and new writers, and we're excited to announce that it's back with a brilliant timetable of work (Mon 4th - Fri 8th March)
Development Week is an opportunity to try your work out in front of an audience for writers and performers, and an opportunity for audiences to participate in the development process by providing feedback which goes directly to the writer to help them develop the work.
Development Week has hosted a plethora of new writing that has gone on to full production: performed locally in venues and festivals such as the Greater Manchester Fringe Festival, Edinburgh Fringe, and as part of national tours with support from Arts Council England.
This time the programme includes lots of work from the WriteForTheStage Progressing and Advanced courses, as well as work from BA students from Salford University, as well as local artists.
Development Week is the best place to come to see tomorrow's work today.
All events are free to attend. Donations are welcome after each performance.
We'll also be recording the first episode of the second series of The WFTS Podcast throughout the week, so come and have your say and be part of our podcast, listened to by 1000s of people all around the world.
