Will Travis brought his brilliant script to Development Week 6 last year and, with a great cast of established and new actors, including Will himself (known for roles in Coronation Street and This Is England amongst a huge array of others), Sue McArdle and Matthew McNulty they really brought to life a script that wa brimming over with promise. A play that really explores the secrets behind those that pull the strings, it was really well received by the audience who gave their feedback.
After that, Will came to WriteForTheStage for some extra development support of the script after receiving feedback from the audience at DevWk through our Developing programme. We spent a great deal of time really exploring the text from a construction perspective and Will made a series of rewrites, ready to take into production.
And I'm really excited to say that production is becoming a reality thanks to Stolen Thread Productions and coming to a theatre very close to you very soon.
