Marina and the Clone - I'm exhausted from laughing

Writer's picture: Mike HeathMike Heath

Well, it's been quite a whirlwind. Rehearsals started last Monday and have been an utter onslaught of playful silliness. I don't remember having laughed so hard for so long. It's quite worrying.

We've been based in the heart of the Northern Quarter in the Community Room at the brilliant Terrace Bar. Terrace have been brilliant - really generous and accommodating and we really can't thank them enough for their support.

I've had the privilege to work with some of the best comedy actors around. We've been finding the ridiculous and turning it up to 11. Their willingness to go beyond silly has been a brilliant experience. Now the work is to pull it all back together again. We're certainly having great fun creating the world of Marina and the Clone.

Marina and the Clone opens on Wednesday 15th March and runs til Saturday 18th at Kings Arms Theatre in Salford.

Friday has SOLD OUT, so get booking for the other nights asap.
