We've been rehearsing for the upcoming run of RP Douglas's new play, Marina and the Clone, for the last week. There's been lots of playfulness in the rehearsal room and, as a director, I've been influenced a lot by the work of John Wright. The play requires a great deal of physical comedy, so we've been embedding games into the performance which really allows the actors to play and find some great physical gags.
There's been a lot of laughter in the rehearsal room. It's going to be a really funny play.
It opens next week and runs for 4 nights at The Kings Arms Theatre in Salford.
